Applying 23% VAT to all vitamins, minerals & food supplements would be completely inconsistent with the current government health policy.

Overview

The government constantly promotes the idea that individuals must take greater responsibility for their health. Yet the application of the luxury rate of VAT totally contradicts their guidance on a proactive approach to health and wellness. 

Legislate now for the preservation of 0% VAT on vitamins and food supplements.
